Mary and Nate // Chrysler Museum, Norfolk VA

I hope everyone had a wonderful first day of fall! Up on the blog today is Mary and Nate’s wedding at the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk Virginia. I know, I know, some of you may be thinking, but Sami, didn’t you photograph this wedding in the beginning of the summer? YES, I totally did, but I was also very sick all summer due to this little nugget I’m currently brewing, so I’m doing a little catch up now that I’m feeling much better!

I’ve had seriously the BEST couples so far in 2019! I was so excited to meet and welcome these two to the Sami Roy Photography family!

The Chrysler Museum is seriously one of my favorite venues in the Hampton Roads area. It is nearly impossible to not take a gorgeous photo inside and outside of the place!

From now on, I’m going to list my top three things that I love about each wedding that I photograph. Weddings are so unique and I want to always highlight my favorite part of wedding days!

So here we go, here are three things that I loved about their Chrysler Museum wedding:

The classic Blush, Black, White color combo. These colors are so classic and timeless and were so beautiful to photograph!
Nates father married the happy couple! It gave such a wonderful and personal touch to the ceremony and even had me tearing up a few times!
Their dinner spread was one for the books! I’m talking Mac and Cheese bar, Charcuterie station and POKE BOWL STATION. Their guests were invited to graze and snack for most of the night instead of having a sit down meal. It was wonderful!

Congrats again, Nate and Nate! It is such a pleasure knowing you and I’m so honored that you asked me to capture your wedding day!
