Welcome to the world, Baby Beckham — or as I will call you forever and always, Bex — AKA my son’s new BFF (because his mom is MY BFF! – are you catching on yet?).

This little man is already so loved.  Mommy and Daddy welcomed him into the world on Tuesday, May 9th at 8:29am, at 8.1 lbs and 21 inches long.  Oh how I was itching to get to the hospital so I could get my baby snuggles in! Katy and Blake (Mom + Dad) are two of my closest friends who I consider like family.   I had the honor of photographing her maternity photos earlier in the spring and I was thrilled when they had asked me to photograph his newborn photos. Given my relationship with Bex’s parents, this was definitely a special photo session for me.

First off, let me just say that they are totally rocking the parenting thing already.  They are naturals!  He is the sweetest little guy and he loves all of the snuggles.  Before I had children of my own, I would always find it strange that people would smell babies.  Well let me tell you something, I’m a PROUD baby sniffer now (other mom’s, you totally get me, I know).  Can they bottle that smell up please?
