Classic, Beautiful and Extremely Fun!

Coming to you on the blog today is Sarah and Tommy’s November wedding at the Obici House, which is a serious contender for one of the most fun weddings I have ever had the chance to not only photograph, but to also attend. This was my last wedding of 2018 and it was honestly the perfect way to round out my year!

From 2 in the early afternoon when we started the day to 11 in the evening, it was a non-stop stream of laughing, dancing and merrymaking. (Do people say “merrymaking” still? If not, this wedding is def bringing it back).

The Obici House was one of the most beautiful venues I’ve ever had the honor to photograph at! All of the details from the chandeliers, the black and white checkered floors, the intricate and beautiful woodwork and of course the view made this such a perfect setting for a wedding.

These two lovebirds met just a few years ago and have clearly been having the time of their lives ever since. And, as you’d expect, the bridesmaids and groomsmen were just as much fun. I mean, there are wedding parties… and then there are wedding PARTIES.

Mingled in with the uproarious events were some genuinely sweet moments, too. I loved when I would catch Tommy just gazing lovingly at his sweet new bride from across the room while she was laughing and dancing the night away on the dance floor. Just goes to show that fun and love go together really, really well.

From now on, I’m going to list my top three things that I love about each wedding that I photograph. Weddings are so unique and I want to always highlight my favorite part of wedding days!

So here we go, here are three things that I loved about their Obici House wedding:

They involved their pups in their ceremony (we all know I love some doggos).
They had a live band, Kaboom Box Band, and some of their guests, including Sarah’s MOH, took the mic for a few songs!
All of the bridesmaids had different color dresses! I LOVED the contrast and how all of the colors went so well together
BONUS LOVE: Tommy is a Patriots fan!!

Congrats again, Sarah and Tommy, and is it too much to ask that you put me on the invite list for any of your future get-togethers…? Ha!
