Happy Wednesday everyone!!! Up on the blog today is Jennifer and Shawn’s wedding at the Westin Hotel in Town Center, Virginia Beach.
I’ve had seriously the BEST couples so far in 2019! I was so excited to meet and welcome these two to the Sami Roy Photography family! I actually met these two love birds on their wedding day. Most of you know, I like to meet my couples prior to the wedding day, but some strange circumstances (like the groom getting stuck in an elevator on the day our engagement session was scheduled!) prevented us from meeting! Can you imagine? Luckily Shawn made it out safe!!
When I first saw Jennifer, she was already wearing her gorgeous/picture-perfect white wedding gown that she found at Here and Now Bridal. The bridesmaids were wearing all different color dresses to represent the different Harry Potter Houses! Oh by the way, did I mention their wedding had a subtle Harry Potter theme?!?!
From now on, I’m going to list my top three things that I love about each wedding that I photograph. Weddings are so unique and I want to always highlight my favorite part of wedding days!
So here we go, here are three things that I loved about their Westin Town Center wedding:
- I love color and I love the fact that every bridesmaid and groomsmen had on different colors to add variation and a pop to the day!
- The subtle Harry Potter Theme was on point and I loved seeing all of the little details that represented their love of the books and movies!
- I usually don’t pick a specific feature for a favorite part of the wedding, but HER HAIR was so beautiful and amazing. Hair stylist, Natasha Williams did a phenomenal job!
The whole day was amazing. Join me in wishing Jennifer and Shawn a happily ever after! It is such a pleasure knowing you and I’m so honored that you asked me to capture your wedding day!
