Well hi again, everyone!

Let’s give it up for one amazing couple, who just so happen to be newlyweds. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Benson!

I thoroughly enjoyed photographing Chris and Maria’s wedding on May 21, 2016  at The Inn at Warner Hall.

I met Chris and Maria  for the first time when we met for coffee in Newport News when they came down from Washington to visit with family and iron out the rest of the details of their wedding.  We ended up chatting for quite a while and I felt like I was having breakfast with a couple of old friends!

Their wedding day was incredible. Maria’s inspiration for the clothing choices for the wedding was the movie Funny Face with Audrey Hepburn.  She said “everything is timeless with classic lines and sharp colors.”  The colors of the wedding were blush, champagne and gold; base colors that were soft, feminine while the gold accents were bold yet classic.  Swoon!!
