Last Night on The Town // New Years Eve 2018

Happy New Year!

How did you spend your New Years Eve this year? Were you cozied up to your honey? Or maybe you were out at a big NYE Bash? Or maybe you were with me at the Last Night on the Town event down in Town Center!

It’s very rare that I actually have the night off on NYE. Not that I’m complaining because I’ve rung in the new years photographing some amazing events in the past and 2018 did not disappoint. Who else can say that they photographed and met Switchfoot before saying hello to a new year? Are you shocked that I made this face when I was finally able to get in the photo with them? I need to work on not doing that, haha.

Anywho, back to the event. My job each year is to photograph and capture all of the details inside of the VIP tent, which is located right next to the stage. I always have the BEST time and while I’m technically “working”, it hardly feels like work. The food is great, the music is even better and the crowds are always having a wonderful time.

I’m not going to lie though, staying up past midnight is getting harder and harder these days, so once the ball dropped, this tired photographer was ready to put her camera down and crawl into bed. That’s what we have coffee for, right?

I’m looking forward to next year and patiently waiting to see who will be performing for LNOTT 2019. The event just keeps getting better and better so I can only imagine it will be someone amazing!
