I’ve known the Long family for quite sometime and I’m so excited to have finally had the opportunity to set up a family session with them!  I met Kerry and Courtney through mutual friends a few years back and they actually won a free session at a giveaway!  Our schedules always conflicted but were able to finally get our session scheduled this fall.  Kerry and Courtney own The Skinny Chef here in Virginia Beach and since meeting, we’ve  worked many events together. (P.S. if you are ever in need of a caterer, Kerry is your man!)

The longs made one very special photography request before our session:   they wanted to have fun and wanted it to shine through the photos.   Well not to toot my own horn, but I think my mission was accomplished.  I can’t take all of the credit though!   They are naturally fun and loving and it absolutely shines through in their gallery.  You also probably can’t tell this from the photos either, but it was absolutely freezing out on our session day.  Thanks for putting up with the cold and trusting me to capture your family photos!
