I recently was hired to photograph the micro wedding of Leslie and Nerik at Sandbridge Beach, Virginia. The weather was absolutely beautiful. They really got the perfect wedding day! Just look at those blue, blue skies.

Leslie met Nerik through some mutual friends that they shared and have been together ever since. Nerik is actually Russian, and to make their day extra special, Leslie learned to read her vows in Russian for him! I was tearing up and I had no idea what she was saying!

I thought this was so touching and it really added something extra intimate to their micro wedding.

What is a micro wedding you ask? Due to the pandemic, this type of wedding celebration has been very popular over the past year. It is a wedding that generally has 50 guests or less.
